Donate Hot Wheels, Matchbox & Diecast Toy Cars to Children in Need
Have extra Hot Wheels, Matchbox, or other diecast toy cars? Give them a greater purpose! Diecast Donations collects new and gently used toy cars for children in need through Operation Christmas Child and local children's outreach programs.
If you have diecast cars in new or nearly new condition and they're just sitting in boxes, bins, or on shelves, you can give them a greater purpose.
My name is Mark Weber and I’m collecting new and nearly new toy cars for children who may otherwise have or ever receive very little or nothing at all.
Through Eastern Hills Church and Operation Christmas Child, donated Matchbox and Hot Wheels cars are placed in gift-filled shoeboxes sent to children around the world. Other cars may support local children’s outreach and community projects in the Buffalo, NY area.
To us, a diecast Matchbox or Hot Wheels car may seem small. But to a child who has almost nothing, it can become a treasured possession—something to race across the floor, carry in a pocket, and enjoy for years.
The toy brings happiness, but the mission goes even deeper. Each Operation Christmas Child shoebox also creates an opportunity for a child to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ: that God created them, loves them, and offers hope even when life feels hopeless.
What Cars Can I Donate?
No sorting needed! My young “pit crew,” Judah and Josiah, and I will take care of sorting and preparing the Matchbox and Hot Wheels cars.
We gladly accept:
- New, unopened (carded) diecast cars
- Gently used but like new (loose) cars that are clean, complete, and in good condition
- Police cars, fire trucks, and ambulances
- Unopened 5-packs — these make great “WOW gifts” for shoeboxes!
Please do not donate:
- Tanks or other military vehicles
- Camo-painted tactical or war-related vehicles
- Vehicles that could be frightening to young children
Just send the cars — our pit crew will handle the rest!
If you're like me, you have a lot of Matchbox and Hot Wheels cars. But what can we do with them? Share them. Give them away. Spread some joy!
Please box up your extra diecast cars and send them to:
